Delta Airbus A330900neo Returns To Tokyo Over Hydraulic Failure Simple Flying
The 900neo is the latest model of the successful Airbus A330 family. It's the same size as the A330-300 Delta already flies, but with new, quieter engines that burn less fuel, plus some aerodynamic refinements. As a consequence, the 900neo — also referred to as the A339 or just 339 —flies farther, up to 8,300 miles nonstop, according to Airbus.

Delta One Suites can be found aboard the Airbus A350, Airbus A330-900neo and some Boeing 767-400ER aircraft. Though the product on the 767 is not technically a true Delta One Suite due to a lack of a sliding door, we'll include it for the purposes of this article.

Delta One on the A330-900neo and A350 feature a fully-enclosed suite with a door (much like the JetBlue Mint Suites). Delta One on the 767-400 is a "light" version of these seats. It's almost the exact same seat, but without the door.

Delta's Premium Select cabin on the A330-900neo consists of 28 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration. Seats measure 18.5″ wide, with 38″ of pitch. That provides and additional 6-7″ of pitch and 1/2″ of width over standard coach. This new plane, delivered in September, 2022, still looked mostly new inside. The one exception - the grey.

What I love about the A330 is that the plane is in a 2-4-2 configuration, so it's a much more comfortable cabin than a 777, for example.
